RE-OPENING WEDNESDAY 8TH JULY @ 3.00PM (See below for full details)
We look forward to welcoming you back to The Roll Call…..it hasn’t been the same without you !!
We will be open from 3pm on Wednesday 8th July, and will be taking a step-by-step approach to ensure that we can keep everybody safe & get used to operating with new procedures in place. Please bear with us as we all navigate this “new normal”.
For an initial period, from 8th July we will only be offering outdoor seating. Access inside the pub will only be for use of the toilet facilities. We expect to open up the inside of the pub for seating within the following week. Our kitchen will remain closed at first, with plans to re-open towards the end of the month (details to follow). During these early stages we will only be allowing those over the age of 18 on the premises (including the garden), this isn’t a decision we have made lightly & it will be subject to review.
Whilst we are offering an outdoor only service our opening hours will be:
Monday-Friday: 3.00-10.00pm (last orders are at 9.30pm)
Saturday-Sunday: 12.00-10.00pm (last orders are at 9.30pm)
Keep an eye on our Facebook Page & Website for changes to opening hours & kitchen opening.
As you have probably spotted in the news & media, visiting the pub won’t be the same as it was…..and so to keep everyone safe & to comply with Government Guidelines please respect the following Rules:-
🍻 Don’t come to the pub if you or any of your household have symptoms of coronavirus.
🍻 Hand sanitiser is available in various locations for your use (including entrance doors), please use this as frequently as you like & always before entering the building.
🍻 A one-in-one-out system will be in use for all toilets. Please follow signage and following social distancing should you need to queue.
🍻 Once you have a table please remain seated as much as possible, respect social distancing & DO NOT MOVE THE TABLES. Social distancing……
- •1-household you can all sit together.
- •2-households (max. 8 people) you will need to maintain 1m between households.
- •More than 2-households (max. 6 people) you will need to maintain 1m between households.
- •Due to the size of our bench tables only a maximum of 4 people will be able to be seated together per table (unless all from the same household). Standing is allowed but you must remain within the same group that you arrived with and still maintain social distancing.
🍻 If there is a change in the weather you won’t be able to seek shelter indoors – some outside tables will have elements of shelter…..but we’re British & can cope with the great outdoors whilst clutching a pint in our waterproofs can’t we !?!?
🍻 To assist with NHS Track & Trace we will ask you for your name & contact details. These details will be kept securely & destroyed after 21 days.
🍻 Depending on how busy we are, either table service will be offered, or you will be directed to an order & collection point. We will be encouraging ordering & payment via an App (details to be provided), otherwise contactless payments are acceptable, with cash to be kept to a minimum if possible. Currently, drinks must be paid for per order & we are unable to run any tabs at this time.
🍻 Please note that failure to observe these measures may result in you not being served.
🍻……I hope you’re still with me & I haven’t lost you along the way.……& don’t forget to have fun 🤪
Thank you for your support & co-operation whilst we all get used to these new procedures,
Shaun, Roz & Team
The Sunday roasts are the best pub roast I have ever had. Large portions, served quickly, homemade and delicious. Have also tried the curries which are very tasty and the desserts are fab too! Staff are always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place for a reasonably priced lovely meal out.Jessica
